I have been a hairdresser for over 16 years.
Over these years I have trained with Vidal Sassoon, ITV this mornings celebrity hairdresser Leo Bancroft, Jody Taylor & Caroline Newman to name a few.
I have a degree in colour where I am a colour specialist with L'Oreal.
I am very passionate about hair and making it suit both personality and hair type. Wether this is your hair or if help is needed I am trained in wig cutting and fitting.
I believe you should make hair fit you and your lifestyle and to simply make you look and feel like the best version of yourself. I want everyone to leave the salon with healthy, glossy hair and therefore, my choice of brands reflect this. I use the best quality products to make sure your hair is the best quality it can be.
Training is paramount to me, to drive myself and my team forward in progressing our skills and knowledge, classical and creative colour and cuts are as important as each other. I have trained and taught young apprentices hairdressing NVQ In Levels 2 and 3 for over 10 years. Passing my knowledge and passion is something I'm still very passionate about.
I have over 13 years experience in the hairdressing industry. My passion is colour. I love to colour hair and make the client feel and look their best.
I am privileged to hold the L'Oréal Colouring degree. I love to be faced with challenges, from colour corrections where my knowledge lends itself to simply a change of shade for a seasonal look.
Over the years I have attended colour courses that have taught me a variety of techniques from creative colour's to more natural subtle tones. One new trend I'm following is contouring. By this I mean, applying colour to contour the face and its features just as make-up does. I'm constantly researching the latest trends, techniques and shades. I believe colour and cut should compliment each other and I strive to work this into my hairdressing.
I have been in the hairdressing industry for 6 years. My passion
and speciality lies with balayage and creative colour.
I have been fortunate enough to visit London and go to "Not Another Salon" to complete "The Perfect Bleed" course.
What I love about my job is spending time listening and getting know my guests
so I can create the perfect bespoke colour.
I'm always looking at Instagram and Pinterest keeping up with the latest trends. I'm a massive believer in, you don't stop learning, so I'm always wanting to further my knowledge and skills to help achieve seamless results every time.
As well as covering all aspects of hairdressing , from cutting to perming and colouring to gents
I have worked along side Louise for almost 15 years.
I started my career in hairdressing in Newton Abbot where Louise & I previously worked in the same Salon together.
I moved to London almost 10 years ago to further my career and although I now live back in Devon, I commute to London every week and split my time between ‘Louise Allan’ and ‘Muse of London’ which I’m a partner in.
I’m proud to say I have had the privilege of working on numerous tv shows such as Lorraine/ This Morning/ Vicky Pattison Judge Geordie & Dinner Date.
I was in the TIGI European session team - worked at London fashion weeks. I have also been a finalist for alternative hair show at the Royal Albert Hall
I have done hair for the Baftas and the National Television awards & Soap awards. And lastly, being in London I have the honour to see celebrity clients regularly, where my instagram showcases my clientele and my work.
I have been in the hairdressing industry since the age of 13, when I first began studying at school.
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to have trained in several prestigious salons, where I worked with many different colour brands.
I am NVQ qualified and have successfully completed levels 1, 2 and 3 in Hairdressing Plus, NVQ levels 1 and 2 in Barbering.
I enjoy keeping up to date with innovative products and techniques. Therefore, I am extremely willing and enthusiastic to do more training when I have the opportunity.
I am always striving to excel at my trade.
Coupled with all the above, plus the fact that I enjoy meeting people, I feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work along side Louise Allan and her tea.
Fun Fact about me.
In my spare time I have travelled up and down the country training young children in gymnastics and trampolining. I feel extremely proud knowing that some of the children I have fortunate to support, have personally expressed to me that I have made their dreams come true.
My working background has always been in a high ticket sales environment. I came to work for Louise Allan Hair and Beauty when I saw the Salon was advertising for a front of house person and I happened to be seeking a change in direction. I am a person that thrives on interaction. I enjoy greeting and talking to the clients and in turn I have been very welcomed warmly. This is proving to be the perfect job for me.
I started my experience at LA being the front of house in March 2019 and have already learnt so much within the hair and beauty industry. Spending time at LA and being around the hair and beauty environment, encourages and influences me into being apart of it all. I’m currently working towards completing an eyelash extension course which I hope to pursue. I love that I get to greet and interact with new people and I love getting to know each and every unique client. I’m the first face you see as you walk into the salon. My ambition is to make everyone feel just as welcome as they do satisfied, once they enter and leave the salon.
